Seawork Nambia own and operate a fleet of modern, safe and efficient vessels.

Our Fleet consists of ten EU-compliant trawling and two longline vessels.

The current operational fleet consists of four, EU-compliant, wet fish trawlers; namely the “Villa de Hio”, “Ocean Tide”, “Ocean Wave” and the “Wiron 5”. All these vessels rely on the “Bottom Otter Trawl” (OTB) method of catching.

Once the catch lands on deck it undergoes an inspection and then initial processing is done; heading and gutting the fish and placing it on ice in 28kg bins. Vessels in the fleet have a carrying capacity ranging from 95 to 180 tons. Should the need arise to supply more, additional vessels can be chartered. This ensures a continuous supply of Hake to the processing facilities and meet even the most demanding supply needs.
